01 / Status of this version

We use Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited to measure page visits, clicks on contact and service buttons, and accepted form submissions. The purpose is to measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The pixel only loads if you actively accept marketing in the cookie banner. If you decline, the website and forms still work.

Your choice is stored as veilo-cookie-choice in localStorage for up to 180 days on the domain you visit. It contains the choice, consent version, purpose, decision time and expiry, but no contact details. Accept enables Meta measurement; Do not accept does not. Each domain stores its own choice. Older essential-only choices are not reused as marketing consent.

02 / What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device. Similar technologies can also store or access information. They may be used for essential features, preferences, analytics or advertising.

The browser's normal caching of site files is not itself a cookie set by us. Your browser may have its own settings for history, caching and autofill.

03 / Meta cookies and information

After consent, Meta may set the first-party cookie _fbp to recognise the browser and _fbc to link a visit to a Meta ad click. They normally last up to 90 days, although the browser may limit this. Meta may also use browser storage for referral information. We clear the known Meta keys when consent is withdrawn or expires.

Meta receives technical connection information such as IP address and browser, as well as the page address, event type and cookie identifiers. We only add fixed information about the page, service, button and form type. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, the website field or free text as event parameters. Automatic Advanced Matching is disabled. Meta may match events with information from its own services. This setup does not use Conversions API.

04 / Change or withdraw your choice

You can open Cookie settings in the footer at any time and choose Do not accept. This stops subsequent Meta measurement and clears known Meta cookies and referral keys on this domain. The page reloads if the pixel had already started. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Cookies on Meta domains can be managed in your browser and with Meta. New purposes or providers require updated information and a new choice.
